5400 rpm vs 7200 rpm hard drive for laptop

I am planning to buy a laptop. How much speed difference will it make if I go for a 7200 rpm hdd (solid state is still a dream object for me). What about the battery cost of 7200 rpm hdd. Heat generation ?  noise ? my desktop hdd was like a monster crawling.

Javadoc search plugin

For those of you who use firefox to refer the javadoc, the following search plugin will make a handy way to locate the javadoc. Just type the class name/method name in the firefox search bar and bingo !!

It is a neat hack which uses Google I’m feeling lucky function

So just copy the xml in yours <Firefox Install Dir>/searchplugins and restart the firefox.
Same plugin should also work for Internet explorer

The icon image I have taken from the http://java.sun.com/favicon.ico .
